Jenna’s roof replacement wasn’t just about upgrading shingles; it was about protecting her entire home. Following the comprehensive roofing philosophy seen with companies like Vita Roofing, we approached her project as a complete system rebuild from the decking up.   Before the tear-off began, we carefully placed tarps to protect her property and control debris. The old roofing materials were removed entirely down to the decking, giving us a clean slate. Upon inspection, we found and replaced sections of soft or compromised decking to ensure long-term structural integrity. For the sloped areas, we installed IKO Dynasty shingles engineered with Class 3 impact resistance, algae protection, upgraded sealing tar strips, a reinforced nailing strip, and increased thickness for superior durability.     The flat roof section required a specialized EPDM system, which included the EPDM membrane, edge metal, screws and plates, bonding adhesive, and tapered Poly ISO foam to ensure proper water runoff. We also replaced or reset two skylights, installed new pipe boots, properly sealed the sun tunnel, and incorporated ½” HD Poly ISO insulation. Jenna’s home is now equipped with a roofing system designed to handle harsh weather while enhancing efficiency and curb appeal.
