EPDM Rubber Roof Repalcement in Fargo, ND | Sunroom Roof Leaking

Amador of Fargo, ND, noticed water stains spreading across his sunroom ceiling and knew it was time to call a professional. He contacted Vita Roofing, and in March 2026, our professional roof inspector, Joe, came out to provide a free estimate and a complete, comprehensive roof inspection. After thoroughly evaluating the flat roof over the sunroom, Joe recommended a full flat roof replacement rather than another patch.

The recommended solution was a cured rubber EPDM membrane. EPDM, short for ethylene propylene diene monomer, has the look and feel of an everyday rubber inner tube, and it is highly resistant to UV radiation and extreme temperature fluctuations. That matters in Fargo, where a flat roof faces brutal winters, hot summer sun, and constant freeze-thaw cycles. EPDM comes in large rolls, so a sunroom roof can be covered with fewer seams, which means fewer places for water to get in.

For homeowners comparing flat roofing materials, EPDM has a strong track record. A well-installed EPDM roof can easily last 20 years with minimal maintenance. If you have a leaky ceiling or an aging flat roof in Fargo, Moorhead, or the surrounding area, Vita Roofing offers free estimates and honest recommendations.
