Leal, ND Asphalt IKO Dynasty Shingle Replacement

This home, built in 1993, required a complete roof replacement. Once a roof is aged over 30 years, this is generally around the time a roof needs a facelift. After receiving a phone call from the property owner, we offered a free, no-obligation roof estimate from the professional roofing contractors at Vita Roofing. Our trusted salesman provided several recommendations for the best roofing options. After careful consideration, Ryan decided to proceed with a full shingle replacement, opting for IKO Dynasty Asphalt Shingles in Granite Black. These Class 3, impact-rated heavyweight shingles are made with a resilient, inorganic glass base that is coated with weather-resistant asphalt. The shingles feature a perforated, three-piece, pre-tapered design, ensuring long-lasting performance, and are surfaced with ceramic granules that protect the asphalt from ultraviolet radiation. During the roof renovation, we set up tarps to protect the surrounding structures and contain debris. We removed the existing roofing system down to the decking and inspected the decking for any soft or rotten areas, replacing them as necessary. Next, we installed two rows of Ice and Water Shield along all eaves and one row in the valleys. We then applied synthetic underlayment to the remaining areas of the roof and installed an aluminum drip edge around the perimeter.

Ryan was very pleased with the final results and will recommend Vita Roofing to everyone he knows!
