Vita Roofing recently completed a roof replacement in Grand Forks, ND, for Scott, installing durable IKO Dynasty Class 3 impact-rated shingles built to handle North Dakota’s harsh weather. These premium shingles feature built-in algae resistance, increased thickness, and upgraded tar and nailing strips, providing strong wind resistance, long-lasting protection, and a clean, attractive finish. The project began with full site protection and removal of the existing roof down to the decking. After inspecting the roof and replacing any damaged wood, Vita Roofing installed Ice & Water Shield along eaves and valleys, followed by synthetic underlayment and aluminum drip edge to ensure proper moisture control and water drainage. The roof was completed with starter shingles, proper ventilation, IKO hip and ridge shingles, and secure fastening for enhanced wind performance.
