Years of harsh Midwest storms had taken a serious toll on Scott’s home. High winds sent debris flying into the gutter system, leaving behind damaged gutters, bent fascia, and worn soffit sections that could no longer properly protect the roofline. As the weather damage continued, shingles began lifting from the decking and separating around the wind and moisture shield, creating concerns about leaks and long-term structural damage. Wanting answers from a trusted local contractor, Scott contacted Vita Roofing for a complete roof evaluation. After a thorough inspection, the Vita Roofing team provided an honest assessment and walked Scott through the best long-term roofing solutions for his home.
Once Scott decided to move forward with a full roof replacement, the crew installed durable IKO Dynasty shingles in the bold Granite Black color. To maximize wind resistance and long-term stability, Vita Roofing used a precise 10-inch offset shingle pattern along with six nails per shingle for added holding strength during severe weather. The project also included TopShield Starter Strip protection, matching IKO Hip & Ridge components, and detailed fascia and soffit repairs to restore the home’s exterior. With the new roofing system in place, Scott now has a stronger, more dependable roof designed to withstand the unpredictable storms common throughout the Fargo region.
