Water damage to membrane of roof
The inspection revealed so many storm damage issues. From the water pooling and the failed attemps at repairing the cracks that have formed over the years.
Missing vent cap
We started by measuring off the roof and making recommendations for the Membrane roof replacement.
Roof repairs attempted
We see where the previous roofing contractors tried to mask the growing issue. We have to do a full flat roof replacement to make this building free of water issues.
Fire damage
Looks like there was a fire sometime ago. This will cause the roof to be weakened and a dangerous hazard.
Setting up to remove layers of flat roofing
We are preping the workspace to start the roof removal. Dumsters are set up and waiting for the roofing debris.
Old underlayment is set to be ripped out
1/2 inch Poly ISO HD Board will replace the aged underlayment.
Parrapet Walls need repalcement
We are set to remove the old Parapet Walls and fully adhered w/ bonding adhesive.
Chimney seal is broken
We will say that some of the water damage issues stem from a broken flashing seal.
Parrapet
Parrapet Walls are fully adhered and folded under the cap metal properly. A proper seal is much more durable.
Membrane is holding up
We made another visit after the completion of the roof installation. The membrane is doing its job perfectly. The interior of the building is water-free.
