Cordell contacted Vita Roofing to inspect and, if needed, offer a full roof replacement featuring IKO Class 3 Impact Rated Dynasty Shingles in Frostone Grey, giving this home exceptional storm protection and stunning curb appeal. Our crew began by setting up tarps to protect landscaping and siding, then removed the old roofing system down to the decking. After inspecting the decking, we replaced any damaged or rotten boards to ensure a solid base for the new roof.
For maximum weather resistance, we installed Sealoron XT Ice & Water Shield along eaves and valleys, Sealoron XT Deck Tape on all seams, and Velora One Synthetic Underlayment across the remaining roof surface. The system was finished with aluminum drip edge, starter shingles, proper flashing for all roof penetrations, and new attic venting to extend the roof’s lifespan.
We topped it off with IKO Hip & Ridge shingles, designed for long-lasting performance and UV protection. After a detailed cleanup, the home was left with a durable, impact-resistant roof that’s ready to handle harsh weather while enhancing the property’s overall value and appearance.
Removed the previous shingles
The roof installers are prepping the roof by removing the old, storm-damaged asphalt shingles. The next move is to install the wind & ice barrier to offer maximum protection for Cordell's home.
Removing the nails and checking the decking
Before we start installing underlayment & asphalt shingles, we are inspecting the decking for wood rot and removing any nails that may get in the way of the installation.
